Everything your practice needs to know about RememberPills for healthcare providers.
You create a provider account, then enroll patients directly from your dashboard. All you need is the patient's name, email address or phone number, the medication or message, and what time to send the reminder.
Once enrolled, RememberPills automatically sends the person a daily text and/or email at the time you specify. Every reminder includes an "I took it" confirmation button — when they tap it, you're notified. You set it once — it runs forever until you pause or update it. No ongoing work required from you or your staff.
About 30 seconds. Enter their name, contact info, medication name, and reminder time — click Enroll. That's it. The patient starts receiving reminders at the very next scheduled time.
No app required. Ever. Reminders are delivered by text message and/or email. If your patient can receive a text message, they can receive a RememberPills reminder. This works for patients with basic flip phones, patients who are not tech-savvy, and elderly patients who have never owned a smartphone.
Nothing at all. You enroll them from your dashboard, and they simply begin receiving reminders. They don't need to create an account, confirm anything, or take any action. The reminder just shows up at the right time.
Optionally, you can hand them a reminder flyer (available as a free printable from your dashboard) that explains the service — but it's not required.
The text message looks like this:
RememberPills: Hi Mary — time for your Blood Pressure Medication. Live Healthier, Live Better. Reply STOP to unsubscribe.
The email is similarly clean and simple. No advertising, no clutter — just the reminder your person needs.
RememberPills is designed to be HIPAA-conscious. We store only the minimum information needed to send a reminder: the person's name, email, phone number, and the medication or message you provide, and reminder time. We do not store diagnosis information, prescription data, medical records, or insurance details.
Because we don't store Protected Health Information (PHI) beyond basic contact details, the HIPAA compliance burden is minimal. For practices requiring a formal Business Associate Agreement (BAA), please contact contactRP@RememberPills.com.
We store only:
We do not store diagnosis codes, prescription details, dosage information, or any other clinical data.
Yes. As the enrolling provider, you are responsible for obtaining consent to receive reminder messages. We recommend a simple verbal confirmation at checkout: "Would you like us to set up a daily reminder for your medication or message?" — or include it on your intake forms. A printable consent language template is available in your provider dashboard.
Yes. Every text message includes a STOP option. Every email includes an unsubscribe link. Anyone who opts out are immediately removed from all future reminders. You will see this reflected in your dashboard.

Yes — every provider account starts with a free 30-day trial. Credit card required — not charged until trial ends. You can enroll patients immediately and they start receiving reminders right away. At the end of 30 days, you choose a plan to continue.
When you register, you estimate how many people you plan to enroll. When you're within 10% of that number we'll notify you so you can adjust. At $1.99/person/month you're billed only for active enrolled people — we'll never cut off reminders without warning.
Yes. For pharmacy chains, Medicare Advantage plans, hospital systems, or any organization seeking white-label integration, please contact us at contactRP@RememberPills.com for custom enterprise pricing.
Yes. Every patient in your dashboard has a Pause/Resume button. Paused patients retain all their settings and can be reactivated with one click. This is useful for patients who are hospitalized, on vacation, or temporarily off a medication.
Yes. You can set up unlimited reminders for the same person — each with a different medication or message and reminder time. Each one becomes a separate alert entry. For example, someone taking blood pressure medication at 8 AM and a cholesterol medication at 8 PM would have two separate reminder entries. RememberPills can send many reminders per day for one person.
Yes. Share your provider login with your front desk staff or nurse coordinators so they can enroll patients on your behalf. Multi-user role management is on our roadmap for a future update.
Every provider account includes a free printable reminder flyer available from your dashboard. The flyer explains RememberPills to patients in plain language, includes "Live Healthier, Live Better" as the tagline, and can be left in your waiting room or handed out at checkout. It includes a QR code so patients can sign up directly — or you can enroll them yourself from the dashboard.
RememberPills sends text messages via Twilio to all major US carriers including Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile, Sprint, and regional carriers. It works on any cell phone that can receive texts — including basic flip phones, senior phones, and older devices.
A patient needs at least one contact method — email or phone number. If they have neither, RememberPills isn't the right tool for that patient. However, family members can be enrolled to receive reminders on behalf of a patient who doesn't have their own device.
